Cookie Policy

In force from 11 September 2026

1. Who runs this site

This site, all-portugal-festival.com, is operated by DESCOBRILANÇA UNIPESSOAL LDA, a company registered in Portugal, NIPC 516940503, with its registered office at Rua 2 da Matinha, Urbanização da Matinha, Lote A, 5D, Armazém J, 1950-073 Lisboa, Portugal. Email team@allcountries.online, telephone +351 910 252 165. The same company is the data controller for everything described here.

2. What this page is for

It explains what is stored on your device when you visit the festival site, what is placed there before you answer the consent banner, what waits for your answer, and how to change your mind later. What happens to personal data afterwards is set out in our Privacy Policy; the rules for tickets and participation are in our Terms and Conditions.

3. What a cookie is, and what else counts

A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep. The same rules apply to local and session storage, to tracking pixels, and to scripts that read information from your device. The law looks at what a technology does, not at what it is called, so everything below covers all of them.

4. The rule we work by

Article 5 of Lei n.º 41/2004, as amended by Lei n.º 46/2012 (the Portuguese law on privacy in electronic communications), allows storing information on your device, or reading what is already there, only after you have been given clear and complete information and have consented. The exception is narrow: files strictly necessary for a service you asked for. Completing a ticket purchase falls inside that exception. Analytics does not.

Where consent is the basis, it is consent under article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Article 7(1) puts the burden of proving consent on us. Article 7(3) gives you the right to withdraw at any time, and withdrawing must be as easy as consenting.

5. What lands on your device before you answer

Three things, and nothing else is intended to:

Core platform files of Wix.com Ltd., which hosts the site: page delivery, protection against abusive traffic, and your language choice between the Russian and English versions.

The consent tool itself, supplied by Usercentrics GmbH. It has to load in order to ask you the question.

If you are already signed in, the session file that keeps you signed in. Member accounts have existed on this site since February 2024.

The record of your answer appears at the moment you answer, not before.

6. What waits for your answer

Everything else: analytics, any advertising or measurement tool, and any content embedded from another company. These load only after consent for the matching category.

7. The categories in the settings window

Essential. Cannot be switched off. Pages, security, language choice, signed-in sessions, the ticket basket and the payment step, and the record of your own consent.

Functional. Remembers choices you have made, and supports member accounts, groups and discussions, the on-site chat and the forms beyond the bare minimum.

Analytical. Counts visits and shows which pages and which events are being read, in aggregate.

Marketing. Files used to build an audience or to measure advertising.

8. What is actually running here

Our current knowledge, with an honest confidence level against each statement. Section 9 explains why we phrase it this way.

Wix platform: hosting, security, two language versions. Essential. Confidence high.

Usercentrics GmbH consent management. Essential. Confidence high.

Tickets and event registration, participation applications, stand and participant package booking. Essential, at the point of ordering. Confidence high.

Payments through the Wix platform at the payment step. Essential. Confidence high.

Member accounts, groups and discussions, on-site chat. Essential and functional. Confidence high.

Contact forms and questionnaires. Essential. Confidence high.

Analytical measurement supplied through the Wix platform. Likely present and consent-gated. Confidence medium.

There is no shop on this site: the catalogue has been empty since 25 August 2026 and the template product cards were removed. Nothing stored on your device serves a shop purchase. A ticket is not a shop order; it is issued through the events module.

9. What we have not checked, said plainly

No full technical scan of this site has been carried out. We therefore do not publish a list of file names, owners and lifetimes, because that would present a guess as a fact. The complete, live list is the one shown inside the consent settings window, generated from what is actually present.

One more point. We require non-essential files to be held back until you answer. We have not verified this by measurement on this site. On another site in our group a marketing pixel was found loading before consent, which is exactly the failure this requirement exists to prevent. So we state it as a requirement we have set, not as a test we have passed. Once the scan is done, this section will say what was found, including anything unwelcome.

10. Who receives data through these files, and where it goes

Wix.com Ltd., as the platform hosting the site and handling payments. Usercentrics GmbH, Germany, as the processor that records your consent.

Some of these companies process data outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on European Commission adequacy decisions or on standard contractual clauses, under chapter V GDPR. We do not sell data and we do not pass it to advertising networks.

11. How long the consent record is kept

Three years from the moment you answer. After that it is deleted and the banner asks again. You can reset it earlier yourself.

12. What happens if you refuse

Reading pages, the programme, contacts, signing in, groups and chat all work on essential files alone. Buying a ticket and submitting an application also work, because the payment step is essential.

One thing needs saying directly. The event pages and the registration form are built on the same platform module as on our events site, and there, declining analytical files affected how the event list and the registration form behaved. We have not repeated that test here, so we rate the likelihood as medium rather than as an established fact. If, after declining, an event page or the registration form behaves oddly, write to team@allcountries.online or call +351 910 252 165 and we will register you manually. Declining analytics should not cost you a place at the festival.

13. Changing your mind

The cookie settings button in the site footer reopens the window and lets you change any category. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser, though blocking essential files may break the ticket process. Withdrawal applies from the moment you withdraw and does not undo processing that already happened lawfully. No reason is needed.

14. Your rights

Under articles 15 to 22 GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and you may object to certain processing. We answer within one month, as article 12(3) requires. The full description of your rights and of how we handle requests is in our Privacy Policy. Write to team@allcountries.online.

If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you may complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD, the Portuguese data protection supervisory authority), www.cnpd.pt.

15. Changes to this page

We update this page before adding any new service that stores or reads data on your device, and again once the technical scan is complete. The date at the top always shows the version in force.
